I have an '04 with a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD presumably running into the OE Bose amp and speakers. There is a prominent Ground loop whine that I would like to fix. Do you thinks it's as simple as a shoddy ground/ power connection on the stereo, or could it be an issue with the Bose? Any common Yukon/Tahoe stereo issues I should be aware of?

run a second ground from your stereo straight to a good ground.

Found the problem. Bad sparkplug wire. It got caught on the steering intermediate shaft and pulled off the coil while wheeling in the sand today. Found the plug end had also come apart some time ago. patched it back together and running good again.
