I upgraded my charging module in my 2015 Denali, GM came out with an update/upgrade module for the pre 2018 wireless charging vehicles. My good friend is a parts manager at a local dealer near me and he gifted me with one after I helped him fix a couple of things around his house. For reference here is a link from GM parts direct. It took me less than 10 minutes to swap it out and it works flawlessly with my iphone X

Has anyone ordered one yet?

Mine was ordered through the my local dealer where my friend works, part number on the box is the exact part number I referenced on gmpartsdirect. I have installed it myself (took about 10 minutes) and it works flawlessly with my iphoneX. It's been installed for about a month now.

This must be a pretty new module then I take it. Does anyone have any pictures of the module? It's a not a cord is it; this is something that you swap out to actually make the wireless charging on the center console functional?

If so definitely worth giving a shot for $60...

This is a pretty new module, believe it was released late in May of this year. This is a complete replacement of the existing module with a compatible plug/play harness (no splicing/cutting of wires or connectors). Pics attached in this order: new module, old module, top of console lid (post install) and bottom of console lid (post install).F44A91F7-5CD2-4A30-94D0-2BF62018C2FF.jpeg872DA8F9-51A0-434E-BF4C-81035A4CBBF4.jpeg5BCADC0E-5F4E-4589-BE2C-B2600E4944CD.jpeg59F8080E-D01F-4A94-B8AF-43E50A57F691.jpeg

^^^Thanks for the pics. Exactly what I was looking for.

I have a set of those same plastic “pry tools” they definitely come in handy!

I’m going to order this module and make his swap here soon for sure.

I ordered Module 13521066, and harness 84193710 for my truck and they work great. The harness is plug and play, all came to 135 dollars from GM Canada if you can believe it. I also ordered the new charging rubber pad that is supposed to come with it #23264395 which supersedes #23264394, however although the part came properly marked it was still a 394 liner. I do not think there is a different part even though the YouTube video made reference to the amount of 'ribs' the new liner has. The new module works great and is happy charging all manner of Apples and Samsungs.

Will this work for a 2016 Yukon denali?

Also, was this part number for the module and cable? or does this module connect directly with no cable needed?

I've read where people were buying the 2018 charging module and then having to either make a cable or buy a cable..... as it has a different connector
