I will be looking to convert as many lines a possible over the AN when I start to build this as a street strip truck. What lines should I do? And what size fittings?

Unless you can purchase a pre-made set up or have the specs from another members build, it’s pretty much a measure twice, cut, twist and try not to get barbed by the stainless wrap on the -AN hose. YouTube tutorials are a must.

I did it the hard way on an early 90’s supercharged car we had since new. Used -8 on the entire engine bay and left the oe lines under the car to the tank. It’s not likely you can reuse the -AN fittings or hose ends after they’ve been attached if mistakes were made.

My final product involved using long radius fittings to avoid cavitation, securing hoses to limit excessive weight at the hose to -AN fittings and fiberglass/silicone heat shield.

You can skip the heat shield but lose the benefits of reducing vapor lock and protecting your hands from rogue stainless strands on the hoses that slice you like a ******. I used orange coloured stuff so I could spot the fuel lines buried in mess of coolant, intercooler, boost and vacuum lines.

I’m in uncharted territory on V8 applications as far as sizing, vendors and specialty fittings for oem fuel lines to -AN. I will be pulling the entire -AN spaghetti to redo it with Jiffy-tite (race proven) quick disconnect fittings. Hmm, seems Oetiker just bought them out. This means they’ll soon be OEM.

Fuel hoses can be separated with a clever tool in tight, critical areas in seconds to service other components. Plus, they self seal when discontented. I ordered all my fittings online as I had some pretty oddball fittings due to space constraints. It took longer but also saved a ton of money.

As odd as it may seem, I was thinking about doing the same thing. I'd measure each line or find the specs online as to which line is what size. Length wise, remove and measure. I'd add an inch or two, just in case, haha.
I've been eyeing these guys http://www.bmrs.net/products.html
They have a pretty wide selection in various materials.
I like the jiffy-tite too, quick connect look nice.
