There is plenty of info with regards to tpms, but none relate to what I am experiencing. TPMS sensors are new (replaced 6 months ago). No issues until today. I attempted to reset/assign tires after rotating (done it before many times). However, when deflating first time the horn never chimed. I turn the ignition on and off and tried again. Nothing. And now i am stuck with Service Tire Monitor System light. No issues until i tried matching/pairing process. Any pointers? Thanks.

Edit: Additionally, it seems like I am no longer able to program memory seats. The retract to default position and I am unable to program them.

Did the horn chirp letting you know it was in learn mode before starting to deflate the first tire?

It gave me the chirp when I pressed lock/unlock keys on the remote, but no chirp when deflating the tire.

Inflate tires again and start over. The shop that just installed my tires did something kooky that caused low pressure in one tire. Instead of low pressures warnings it gave the same “check tire system” warning you got.

One tire was at 28psi. Took it back to the shop and the tech did something with only two horn blips to relearn the ailing sensor back to life. He also had a generic sensor communication tool that may have allowed him to bypass a few steps.

It may be worth it to order an inexpensive tpms tool from amazon or eBay.

If you lose or add 10 psi over whatever the setting is the light will come on. That your not able to complete this and your seat memory quit working may be related, check your BCM for codes with an advanced scan tool.

I cannot get my tires reset at my tire store, too many other GM cars around. The remotes and their sensors interfere. I just take it home, make sure my spare remotes and other GM cars are not nearby and do it then myself.

One time I could not get it to work at all. Called it a day and it worked like a charm the next morning.

Thank you. Tried today and it worked. Additionally, I found a spare keyfob in the glove compartment. I wonder if that might have affected pairing processes. Also, it took nearly 10 psi per tire to match it (before it was just a few). All good so far.
