One more step in the process, the title arrived in the mail today, not bad for Saturday mailing. Good condition, too. I think I'll put it in the fire resistant safe, just in case.

My Yukon finally arrived last Friday. Three weeks it took them to get it here.

It appears none the worse for wear from making the trip.

The brake have a very soft pedal, moving way too far to stop the truck as quickly as it should, so a total brake system purge is in order.

Roof console reading/dome lights are inoperative. I'll check the bulbs for continuity and see if the sockets are getting power. Also, the electric left and right outside mirrors don't move.

This is my friend with the truck loaded up to bring to the house.

so sick the green is my favorite of the color options and i prefer the grill on these to the tahoe's. the wheel are really the cherry on top. if your going to dig into the brake project consider a hydroboost conversion

Beautiful truck. I had a green '97 but that GMC color is better. If you are digging into dome light, get the LED conversion kit from ebay for $20, you will not regret it.

Enjoy, and I hope you grow to love the tailgate. I am a staunch supporter. When you take the truck to an actual tailgate and drop the tailgate and sit on it you may agree. You can also roll around somewhere you go slow like at the beach with the rear window popped which is also hard to beat.

Best of luck with it.

I've had SUVs and other vehicles with a tail gate. I intentionally chose my Yukon because it did NOT have a tailgate. When you bend over to place things in the truck, no tailgate is the deal. I've already placed a WeatherTech mat in the back. Barn doors for the win, gentlemen.

I acquired the cheap LED kit from eBay, it's a bust so far.

I passed on a really nice 2 door because it had barn doors. Both have their advantages, just depends on the person

The LED lights are polarity sensitive, which I found out the hard way. You may already know this, but thought I would mention...

Nice ride, did you buy it without seeing/driving it ? If it's as good as it looks, you made a good choice . JMHO and food luck with it.
