I’m considering purchasing either a 2014 or 2015 Tahoe. I realize there was a model refresh in 2015, so I’m wondering based on people‘s current knowledge if there were any major issues or problems with the 2014 (and before) models which would make it worth skipping out on the 2014 and going with a 2015. If not, what are the most predominant issues with the 2014 (and before) models that I should be aware of before considering a purchase?

I wont be buying any of the 15+ models till they figure all those problems out, frigin nightmare, I wouldn't buy a 14 either to much confusion on parts, stick with a 13 would be my 02 cents. plenty of parts availability and no major issue's other than v4 mode which can be handled.

I test drove a used 2017 and really liked everything but the $49k price tag. Then I found and bought a loaded low mileage 2012 with all the options I wanted for $20k less. I am happy with my decision. The only way I would buy a 15 is if I had a bumper to bumper warranty.

Someone on here recently bought a new loaded top of the line Tansverse and paid 49K..All vehicles are way overpriced.

With that said I still love my 2016 Tahoe LT..So far just oil changes every 5K miles..Now have 26K miles on it which includes 3 trips from Miami-NYC. .I did get the bumper to bumper warranty.

Couple very minor warranty corrected issues on my 15. Loved it but sold it for $48.5k 2 months ago. It's an SLT, not Denali.805305f0bf1ed516d61581b815ecabfe.jpg
