After 11 years of driving an '05 Nissan Titan and three months of a 2017 Titan, and being active at Titan Talk, I have returned home to Chevrolet. On May 20,2017 I took delivery of a gorgeous slate gray '16 LT 4x2 Tahoe. Man, is this thing the greatest. I have enjoyed a good online community for the Titan and hope to find the same here. I'm glad to be back wearing a bowtie.

Wow, what happened in the 3 months of owning a '17 Titan that made you get rid of it?

I was on my 2nd '17 Titan. A Platinum Reserve gas engine crew cab 4x4. Great engine. Nice interior build quality. Best back up camera ever invented. Best oem exhaust note since the big block Vette., Pathetic paint. Completely un-intuitive instruments and operator controls. Weird shift points on the trans. 13 mpg. No third party or aftermarket accessories. The first generation Titan that I bought new in '05 was brilliant. It had innovations that the rest couldn't touch. But it's evolution stalled in its tracks in 2008. They just gave up. The second gen ('16-'17) was an engineering fiasco. It had a few really great ideas and the rest of the truck was a rolling enigma. again, it's like they just gave up. I disliked the first '17, really disliked the second one and I knew the next few years would be miserable. I got out before I lost too much more money. But man, am I ever digging' the Tahoe.
