Current owner of an XL SLT.
I'm searching for 2016 Yukon XL SLT or the Suburban LT but recently I came across a sale on the LTZ. Price is way below of the other 2.
Is a right move? I'm don't need a bigger engine. What's the difference?

Cooled seats, daytime leds, magnetic ride control, 20" wheel size minimum, and, as stated, different trim.

Chevrolets all use the 5.3 with the 6L80e six-speed trans.

The main differences between Tahoes and Yukons are in names and packaging choices on options. Yukons appear a little more expensive but include more equipment as standard that is optional on a Tahoe. Some of the color and equipment names are different, but the underlying kit is mostly the same.

You can come very close to outfitting a Tahoe LT such that it has the same equipment as a Yukon SLT, and pricing will be very close when you do.

If you opt for a Tahoe LTZ, it will have HID headlamps and a magnetic-damping suspension, neither of which you can get on any other Tahoe nor any Yukon except a Denali.

If you opt for a Denali, you get a larger engine and 8-speed transmission unavailable on any Tahoe, including the LTZ.

Clear as mud.

THis is how I see it from base to top of the line - SLE, LT, SLT, LTZ, Denali, Caddy. Then it comes down to body style.

Huh?

All denalis come with magna ride AND HID headlights... (As well as the 6.2 and 8spd)
