Surprisingly there were very few flakes on the orifice tube. When it burned the belt i instantly turned off the ac button. I just installed the oil and its running cool for now and no high pressure. I will update if it goes bad before i leave overseas.
Thanks alot guys. Just now getting around to doing this today lol. I will also order the product just fishing has shown me. Didnt know it was possible. Not much oil came from the old compressor. Not sure where it went. I got a used compressor for now. When that came all the oil had wasted out...
I have the compressor for rear AC. How much oil is required? I changed the compressor back in 2021 but added no oil to the used one. So I'm back here in the same boat trying to make things right after the replacement burned up today
Sorry to reply to an old thread , but was this the problem? I have the same issue. Mine is on an 9 inch for my 2008 yukon denali. It has fluid leaking from the abs sensor on the same side. Its an aftermarket sensor. Could the oring be bad for the sensor or do i need to replace the axle seal?
Sorry guys. I found out what it was. I had left for overseas and did an Escalade cluster swap. I didn't notice the problem before I left. I was thinking it was the ignition switch. I had the yellow wire going to the pink wire. On an Yukon and Tahoe this wire is supposed to be discarded. No...
I have a strange issue with my 07 Denali. When I turn in the headlights manually the fuel Pump primes and the check engine light comes on the dash like I'm turning the key on. If the lights are on when the truck is running and I try to turn it off, the truck will continue to run with the key...
Thanks for the video. I left for overseas a day after I made this post and I'm still not back in the States to resolve those problem yet. But I'll be heading back soon. Do you happen to have the part number to the rod? Also since I'm taking down the valve body are there any easy upgrades I can...
No I didn't check. I'm assuming the worst right now. I'll get under the truck later and verify that it's in the correct position. Do you have a link on your post about it?
2008 Yukon Denali awd. I'm replacing the lower control arm with a new one but once I got everything back together it seems as though the spindle isn't sticking straight up. Is it supposed to be at an angle like this on these trucks? It's my first time doing this job on my truck.
It's just temporary. I will replace the other side with an regular strut as well. Just need to get the truck even for bodywork before I put it back in the road
I'm going to replace one front strut with one regular shock but I still need for my compressor to come on. Would this setup still work and disable the suspension system message? Works my compressor still function?
I went on ahead and ordered one today of anyone needs the information. It does come with the tabs for the rear bumper bracket. One seller finally was able to take the time and message his supplier.
This is the sellers store. He shipped out the same day right after payment...
