oh it was way better. didnt nearly crank as long as before i did the plugs. and that picture looks 2 times better than what mine did. the electrodes on all 8 of mine were flat with the base of the plug.:wtf2:... i would also def recommend yanking ur throttle body off and scrubbing the hell out...
i just changed my plugs and wires a couple of weeks ago. stock plugs and wires. (densos) also had 242xxx miles on them and the electrodes were completely gone but i went with NGK tr5s and msd wires. purrs like a kitten now

try somethin a lil quicker.. just clean ur maf sensor and ur throttle body with some seafoam... my truck did the same thing last year after i bought it....been the better part of a year and a half since i have done it and havent had an issue yet
do u have 4 wheel drive? im curious cause i just had my u joints replaced yesterday and my drivers side hub was reported bad and i have the hummming sound as well...
hey ozie... sorry i havent gotten back to ya sooner on this... yes i was able to do mine on my own.... the best thing for u to do on this is first unplug the all the wires goin to your coil packs.... removes the coil packs on both sides that are the closest to the fire wall.... now remove all...
my guess would be head unit.. do u still have ur stock speakers layin around? id try swapping those back in to see if there is any change... what kind of speakers did u upgrade to? also is it the bose system? do u have onstar?

well if u have a k&n filter than u are more the likely gonna wanna clean that mass airflow sensor.... the thing with these filters they are oil charged..... therefor there is the high possibility that our mass airflow sensors wind up catching some of the oil from the filter..... When was the...
take it to autozone or other equivalent auto store and have the codes scanned for free.. could be somethin as simple as a gas cap.. but we wont know until u figure out what the code is... but yes i would figure out what it is real soon to try and help prevent anything major from leavin you...
do u notice ur rpms dropping at all? i know when i first got my kon it was doin that especially at night. died on me a couple of times and when it died i noticed my voltage drop to about 10 and the rpms dropped below 500... if thats the case for u then a good throttle body cleaning is in order...
