Because of the advise on this forum I just switched to Michellin Defender tires and couldn't be happier. They ride SO much better than the stock tires.
I got tired of detailing my vehicles, I also own some classic cars, so I had them ceramic coated with gtechnic. Makes my life SO much easier now. I just rinse, dose them with the foam cannon, pressure wash rinse, and dry with air cannon. Easy Peasy
I swapped out the stock tires for some Michellin Defender LTX tires and an alignment. What a difference in the quality of the ride. I highly recommend, as well as do many other members here, these tires.
We have a couple drive ins nearby. I went to go see The Lion King. Great update to an already great movie, but it's visually a darker movie so it was hard to see some scenes. You lose a lot of clarity due to light pollution, but going to a drive is still worth it.
I just felt frustrated having...
I didn't see anything in the settings or an internet search about changing the time the radio gets shut down. That, and its so weird that the interior lights came on 7 minutes AFTER turning the accessories back on for 30 seconds. Weird.
So I went to see The Lion King this weekend at a drive in theater in my 2017 Tahoe this weekend. I thought it would be great given the sound system, comfort, and big windshield to watch the movie. Wrong.
The radio shut off every 15 minutes so I had to hit the start button which turned on the...
I have shelves of car detailing products and find myself using Maguiars interior detailer for things the dash and their leather detailer for the seats. Great products that do their job well and don't cost a ton.
I had some door dings removed and then had my Tahoe detailed this weekend and ceramic coated. What a difference, even with white paint, having the swirl marks removed. The ceramic coating adds a nice shine and water just rolls right offer her now. Windows, too.
If you scroll through your info settings that show up on your driver's info display you'll find one for a trip monitor and gas mileage average. When driving, it'll show if you in V8 or V4 mode. That's how it works in my 2017 Tahoe anyway.
Thanks for the reply. I think that I'll have to go with a custom solution like you did. I can't see going with a big and bulky armrest so attaching a pad may have to do.
I know this isn't really a huge deal, but I tend to fixate on small things so I thought I'd post it up to see if there's a fix/solution.
My elbow is creating a dent in the padding on the upper door from resting there while I drive. The padding is on the thin side, and I try to move my arm, but...
