Interesting. What does it mean to "get an oil analysis"? By the way, I've been using Kirkland oil for about the last 3 or 4 oil changes, so that's my vested interest.
For my OEM 22" wheels, I too have Security Chain Company's cables. Specifically, I bought SZ451 and verified they actually fit. Haven't had to use them in snow, but they fit and clear the brakes.
Sorry, I wrote "Goodyear", but I meant what you said - Bridgestone. But yeah, they had the latitude to immediately adjust/apply the promo towards my desired brand. Not surprising given the establishment.
FYI @MoonTruck, Costco pretty much alternates between $150 off Michelin and then $150 Goodyear. But as timing would have it, I needed new Michelins during the period when only the Goodyears were being promoted. So I just asked the tire shop if I could get the $150 off Michelin deal instead, and...
At $5-$10 margins, I agree that it'd be a significant investment of time and resources - I wouldn't do it, hahaha! Regardless, I'm glad you were able to fab something so awesome for your YXL!

Got the set of Michelin X LT A/S (i.e. Costco-exclusive Michelin Defender) installed to replace the OEM Duelers, and a suspension alignment. Don't see any night-and-day level difference, but admittedly, my butt-dyno is not very refined at all. On a related note, I didn't realize Costco has DIY...
