    Battery drain/ BCM issue?

Thought I'd try to refresh this thread since I don't see a solution yet and I have some of the same issues and haven't found a closer post on here. I have issues 1, 3 and 4 above. I've had excessive battery drain in the past but solved that by removing PO's aftermarket remote start. My number...

GMT 800 2500 Suburban Transfer Case Options

I'm following this thread as an interested observer. I hate the electric switches and would love to have a lever, but I was told it wasn't possible.

    Spare Tire Carrier

I was thinking about one of these below. I have a 2" receiver front and back. Anyone try something like this? https://www.amazon.com/CURT-31006-Hitch-Mounted-Spare-Mount/dp/B0009YIE1O/ref=psdc_15706921_t1_B000E1HWDS...

Pirelli AS plus 3 vs Michelin Defenders LTX M/S

I have the Michelin LTX and absolutely love them! So much quieter than the last AT tires I had. They handle and tow great. I wish they had the 3 peak/snowflake designation though. Does anyone know of a comparable E rated tire that has that?

Drivers window will not roll up?

Do any of you know why the same window on my rig is slowing down and barely closing? It's worse in cold weather and I need to have my truck running to keep the voltage up. Is that the motor dying? Or is there someplace that needs lube?

massive oil leak in wheel well??

The way I read the original post, it may not be engine oil. I had a problem with the brake cylinder that sprayed brake fluid in my driver's side wheel well.

Wiper arm stand up for snow?

My wipers don't stay up either and I was WTF too! I thought every vehicle in the last 30 years you could stand them up. I've been thinking about posting about this for awhile and would really like to know if I can switch out another wiper arm. Sounds like a 2001 does it, so maybe that will...

Best snow cables for 2003 Yukon Denali XL?

I mostly keep mine with me in winter just to be legal when they say carry tire chains. I try to avoid traveling over the passes if they say chains are required, although our vehicles will do better than most even without them. I have the old school heavy duty chains with cams and tighteners...

Update 5/2/21 - Bounce and Porpoising - Especially Towing

I tow a similar sized trailer with a similar Yukon XL 2500 all over the west, including Canada and Mexico and don't have that problem. I have an EAZ Lift WD hitch and 4600 Bilsteins, but otherwise stock suspension. I run 285/75/16 Michelin LTX and run them at 50 psi front 80 psi rear, just like...

    3rd Row Seat

I have a 3rd row seat that I'm trying to sell locally, but if someone wants to pick up the shipping cost, I'll sell it here. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2874228536191109

    Continuous Rear Wiper

I suspect the ground. I had different symptoms, but this could be your problem. There is a ground off the wiper motor that connects to the hatch door steel. You have to take the inside panel off. I just took the ground off, cleaned the connection, and put it back on with a star washer and it...

Anyone with floor mats for sale?

I’m not using mine. I put in some weather techs and the original carpet mats are just taking up space in my garage. Still in pretty good shape. I had other rubber mats over the top of them before I got the current mats. Actually, the old rubber mats are available too. You can help me clean out...

    Anybody using a short antenna?

At first I just tried from the outside. I thought it was designed so that it was reasonably easy to remove with just a crescent wrench for car washes and such. When it just spun, I went under the hood to find something else to hold onto, and eventually took it completely loose, but still...

Cheap 85 dollar ebay L.E.D tail lamps waste of money

I bought some Spyder lights. About twice what you paid. They were plug and play, except one side had the wires too short and I had to splice them. I think they were these, but mine aren't smoked. They look good and have been working fine for about 3 years.

    Service 4wd Message

Here's a scary update on my situation. After experiencing all the same random issues identified in here and having 4 encoder motors installed, fixing all grounds and replacing the switch, the dealer finally told me the problem was the transfer case. $2800 later I'm finally using 4wd with...
