    Electric brake controller

I have a 2000 Tahoe Z 71, but it’s the early 2000s saw the same as the 99 body style. I’m just wondering if anyone has insight on a plug and play electronic brake controller? I’m hoping I can get away with a plug and play and not having to hardwire one in

    MPFI conversion

Oh yea, they are spotless. I wouldn't use a drill with a bottle brush though. I used a bottle brush by hand power only. That's just my personal opinion.

    MPFI conversion

It's a brand new AC Delco MPFI conversion. The lower is the original manifold. Plenty of shoulder. I think it's just the locking tabs on the injectors that aren't well designed.

I did try that, and the swapped lifters still had issues in those locations. What I ended up doing was braiding copper wire and slide it in behind the plastic locking collar to give them more pressure against the walls of the lower intake. That locked them in nice and tight. Redneck enginuity

    MPFI conversion

Working on converting my 99 tahoe to mpfi injection. After I installed the new MPFI unit, I noticed the injectors do not seat well, at least not all of them. Most of them seat, and will stay in place, but a few of them, most notable cylinders 1 and 3, will pop loose with the slightest of force...

    Removing resonator box

I've got a 2000 Tahoe Classic Z71 with the 5.7. I'd like to remove the ugly resonator box. Is there any aftermarket throttle body caps, or whatever they may be called, without the resonator cutout?

    Lifter Replacement

Hello Folks, I have a 2000 Tahoe z71 with the 5.7 engine. Albeit it is a 2000, it's a 2000 CLASSIC model, which is closer to the 99 model year then the later 2000 model year, but I didn't want to post in the wrong section of the forum, so if a moderator wants to move this thread, please do...

    5.7 Engine Misfire (P0300)

Hello, I have a 2000 Tahoe z71 classic (2000 model year, 1999 body style) that I'm having a misfire issue on. It started as a P0303 code, now it's the random p0300. The issue isn't constant, but seems to be more pronounced if I'm going uphill and I'm light on the throttle I'll get a vibration...
