What does it feel like after torque management is turned off? And, what else would you turn off? I’m thinking all the DOD stuff for sure, what else?

Agree. I have ‘95 K2500 (TBI BBC 454) but I’ve had a GMT900 Denali with the 6.2 for context, and I’d say take the opportunity to look for the unicorn - 2500 GMT900 suburban. They only made them through 2012.
Maybe I’m just getting old, and I love my K2500, but the GMT900’s are just so nice...
Any info? Haven't found much optimism on the www, although plenty of Amazon recommendations that put the following three products together, so someone must be doing this. Any info?

You've got to take the front off. I looked at an oil pump too, wish I could have done that at the same time. I was just trying to get the rig back up, given it was my wife's only ride to truck around our kids...

There was another post that said this could be done without dropping the diff. So, probably could be done. I just chose to pull it all down and power through since it was all pretty easy to get to.

Ended up being the oil pickup grommet failed. About an $8 grommet did all this. Fixed it, I have some other posts...

This is AWD, doesn't have the 14 bolt. The BW4485 had a bearing explode a couple months back, and the replacement kit squeaked something bad after I rebuilt it - when I was installing, I had one bearing feel "off" a bit, and thinking twice about just reusing the old one I instead used the new...
