Here my 99 2wd refreshed a bit. Picked this up 6 months ago and I have done a few things to it, just lowered on spindles and 1" spring to bring it down 3" up front. Tinted the front windows and swapped the wheels..

I just picked this up the first week of Jan, and it has a 2/3 drop on it with 17's but only 50 series tires up front I don't like the gap, it looks like your tires are abit taller so 3" would look good with those wheels and tires.

Sorry didn't see the lifted part...
No I have not yet really gotten a good look at the shocks but they were not leaking from what I could see when I took a quick look,but I'm thinking something along those lines, I forgot to mention that the truck has 109,000 miles but don't know the history of how long the shocks have been...
