I would just like all the systems to be functioning. Being that I was throwing codes I would like to see all green lights at some point. Hi. I had a P0138 and P0158 code on my 2020 Tahoe with the 5.3. I took it to the dealer (one month out of warranty) and they cleared the codes and did a fuel system cleaning. Lifters
I order the AC Delco Dexos1 Gen2 0W/20 from Summit Racing. It's a second car for now so I don't put much mileage on it and the oil life indicator always runs down on the time way before mileage. It's probably going to be my last new vehicle as I'm not happy with the direction of anything new...- Reyetwinger

I have been hearing tons of horror stories about the new generation V8's lifter issues. I have an early build 2020 5.3, are these also having DOD lifter issues? I haven't seen it discussed nearly as much. Thanks.- Reyetwinger

Thank you. Believe me I have tried to figure out how to get a 4 post lift in there but I don't have the height. I want to get another car, maybe a GTO but I don't have the room. You can never have too big a garage!- Reyetwinger

Thanks. The part# is 23365760, it's pretty expensive. I see a lot of people just cut down the one they have. Since the dealer was swapping everything over from my 19 to 20 I just had him put it on since they were taking the front bumper off anyway. One more thing I did was swap out the stock front air deflector for the much smaller PPV deflector on my 2020. I think that really cleans up the look of the front end.- Reyetwinger

I would say this has lag too. There is a slight delay from when I step on the gas to when it does what I want. I had 3 Rams with 5.7's but with the 5 speeds and all with 3.92 rears. I wish my Tahoe went like those did lol. I have no experience with the Dodge 8 speeds though.- Reyetwinger

I traded in my 2019 Midnight Edition which had the 3.08's and ordered a Black 2020 LS Custom with the Max Trailer Package which has 3.42's. I had the dealer switch all the Midnight Edition parts from my 2019 to my 2020 so that's why my signature says LS Custom Midnight Edition with 3.42's...- Reyetwinger

Lol, yes that's a pretty funny way of looking at it. I don't know where that bolt should be. It doesn't look like it was ever threaded into anything. This dash isn't the tightest I've ever known. There are a lot of bad things that went on during assembly. The console wasn't even put in correctly.- Reyetwinger
