I think you got it correct. On the drive to the dealer, 40 miles away, I started to se regular voltage readings that I was normal too. I'm guessing, the battery, which is bigger than stock, and sitting on a battery tender every night, was capable of providing the needs of the car around town...- Oaktree

Battery is 12.66 unplugged, with alligator clamps on startup I get zero increase, actually goes to 12.45.- Oaktree

2022, ok I remember it being right in the middle of the gauge. I could be wrong or it was a weak battery and always charging, so that makes sense. I’ve been putting a battery tender on it every night until I get to the dealer tomorrow.- Oaktree

Wife drives the Tahoe 2022 but last weekend, I get in, drive to Walmart, fill up on gas and it won’t start. Dead battery. Thank you, that is right, now I remember that name. They did give options of flying and driving back or shipping. Since CO and Kansas are pretty boring, I think I’ll know what I’ll do. Next up, conversation on extended warranty. Just the motor or will they reset the entire drivetrain.- Oaktree

It appears my letter to GM for Lemon law worked. The dealer called (not customer care…) that the motor arrived last week and they are installing it. Next up is a different team, GM roadside assistance, to get the car back to Arkansas.- Oaktree
