Frontend upgrades?
I have a 94 2-dr Yukon and I plan on adding a lift this month, but before I add the lift I would like to upgrade the frontend parts that tend to wear out. If you are even somewhat responsible with your money and save that $400 a month payment, within 1 year you would have the money for a new motor & trans!- mykdee

I figure even if you pay a shop to install a new crate motor, you would still be in much better shape than buying a new Tahoe or Yukon. You could pay a shop to install a Motor, Trans & transfer case and still be in GREAT shape!- mykdee

I ended up ordering Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain A/T 265/75/16 with 16x8 Black soft hole steel wheels. I decided on the smaller size tires that way I have more clearance for the tires to travel. I actually use my Yukon every weekend offroading. So I figured tire clearance was more important... -

I have a 1994 2 door Yukon, I am ordering tires tomorrow. I have 2" blocks in back and possibly adding keys up front. I am on the fence on which size tires to buy. If I go 265's I will lower the back 1". If I go 285's I will add the lift keys. Please post pics with both sizes please! Short on... -
High Mileage?
1. What should the compression be at, considering the mileage? 2. What should oil pressure read on a meachanical gauge? 3. I checked for blowby, there is very little blowby close to none. The oil cap is not blown off when laying on there.- mykdee

I got some work done on the roof rack today. I still have a lot of supports to weld in Also need to figure out how I am mounting it. Picked up a front brush guard also. -

I started building the roof rack today, changed the dimensions a little. I built the base at 80" x 50". I will post pics tomorrow. -

Roof rack build 2 door Yukon!
I will be starting a roof rack build tomorrow for my 94 2 door Yukon. It does not have a factory roof rack so I will be adding nutserts for mounting. It will be made from 1" square tubing. I plan on making it 7ft long x 53" wide. I will post pics as I go!
