2015 Tahoe. Sunroof works intermittently. Very odd, sometimes when I start the vehicle it works totally fine and than next time I start the Tahoe the sunroof is dead. Switch is good so it must be a faulty harness or motor. Anyone know where the motor is located? I can’t seem to find any diagrams...
2015 LTZ with magnetic ride. I need to replace my shocks. I see folks recommending the arnott Sk-3354 but that looks to be the entire assembly (spring etc) which is pretty expensive.
Is it required that I swap the entire strut assembly on this z95 suspension or can I just compress the spring...
The front shock, if I have access to a spring compressor can I just replace the monotube shock itself or do I have to replace the entire shock/strut/spring assembly (ex arnot Sk-3354). Seems like just replacing the shock itself would be alot cheaper.
Thanks for the response. Yeah I don’t think the struts are stuck as I can push down on both sides however the ride is very springy which makes me think that the dampeners just crapped out. I was originally hoping that I can just replace those but it sounds like you have to replace the entire...
So at 78k miles my ride quality has gone to shit and it’s time to replace my 2015 LTZ magnetic ride suspension. It seems like the common consensus is to go with the Arnott SK3354 front and AS3066 rear setup. That’s ~$1,500 parts which seems crazy to me. Are there any more cost friendly options...
Hey folks. The sunroof in my 2015 LTZ randomly stops working. Seems like every time I start her up there is a 50/50 shot the sunroof will work or be completely dead. When it works, it works fine. No odd noises or anything. When it’s not working, I can here a faint “click” sound when I push the...
OK so here’s a comparison pictures between the satin (really flat/matte) and gloss. Some may prefer the look of the satin but personally I am really happy with how the gloss turned out and think it’s a much better match for the vehicle.
Overall I am very happy with how it looks and it rides oh...
Just following up in case anyone else runs across this thread during a similar search.
I rolled the dice on satin and....blah. You all were right. I love the style of the wheel and the satin looked nice in the bay of the tire shop but as soon as I got it out in the sunlight the satin (which...
Thanks guys, I appreciate everyone’s input. I do have the same concerns that satin may look a little dull or even greyish against the gloss black paint. Heck, maybe the contrast would look good though.
My hesitation with the gloss is mostly that if I had a red Tahoe I wouldn't put red glossy...
Hey folks. Just recently picked up a ‘15 black LTZ with 2” front level and am getting ready to upgrade to some 22” TBSS replica wheels. I’ve picked out the 285/45/22 defender LTX as my tire choice but really struggling with whether satin or gloss will be the best pick for the wheels. I’ve never...
Looking at a set of Black Rhino Karoo wheels that are 22x10 with +20 offset and 6.29 backspacing. Going on Defender LTX 285/45/22
Trying to figure out this offset and backspacing stuff and with it being a +20 my understanding is that it should not stick out the wheel well. Is that accurate? I...
It wasn’t that but I did find my answer. Not sure how I missed it the first few times I went looking through the menu options but I actually found it today and it was a pretty clear option you can select in the NAV menu/settings
Is there a way to change the orientation of the map within the navigation? I would like to make the NAV screen like Waze or any other GPS where the car is always going “upwards” and the map rotates as your direction changes but on my Tahoe navigation the car rotates but the map always stays...
