That's the platform the full size Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer are being built on and it's supposed to go into production first quarter of 2021. After riding in my co-workers new Ram if the Wagoneer interior and ride is even on par with that of the Ram (which I'd imagine it's going to be a step up)...
I'm an advocate of extended warranties on newer cars with all the electronics and things that can go wrong. However, $1745 seems pricey an extra 40k miles of coverage. I'd want something that covered to at least 100k miles personally.
Exactly, GM has done this with the last two platforms. Only a matter of time before the 6.2 will be available in the Tahoe.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but here’s pics of the Tahoe RST in the wild. Exterior wise I like it but until they make it available with the 6.2 hard pass. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/01/2021-chevrolet-tahoe-rst-on-the-street-live-photo-gallery/

I never was a proponent of it for reasons stated. I said the same thing a few years ago when BMW first implemented it.

I never really understood the ******* people have for wireless carplay. The music sound quality is noticeably worse than being hardwired and you can't charge your phone unless you have a wireless charging feature (which mine never worked).

That has not been confirmed. Of course eventually it’ll have the 6.2 offered, but as of now the 5.3 is what the RST comes with. This is what a GM rep at the Milwaukee Auto Show told me.

Any word on if the 6.2 will be available on models not slathered in chrome? I know the current gen RST has the 6.2 option but they seemed to imply that this new gen has the 6.2 in the Denali and High Country only.

AT4 is going to have what's basically the same interior as the Denali including the nicer infotainment system that integrated into the dash. The non Denali/AT4 Yukon and Tahoe share the same less polished looking radio that on the dash.

About damned time! I'll finally be able to get a Yukon without having to get a higher priced chrome slathered Denali in order to get HID or LED headlights. Glad they came to their senses and realized a $58k truck with halogen headlights is ridiculous. And yes, I know, retrofit blah blah blah but...
All in all definitely an upgrade in looks from the 15-20 models. Sorry but I absolutely do not care for the front end of the current Tahoe and Suburban. They looked dated from the onset and will age horribly looks wise.
