I installed a compustar dc3-lc with the drone mobile add on about a year ago. one of the best things I've done to our suburban. the factory remote sucked so bad I practically had to be in the car for it to work. I used one of the pre wired harnesses as well and made install super simple.
I appreciate all the replies and positive feedback I will do my best to get some night shots as soon as I can. Life’s super busy right now with a wedding and we just purchased a house so moving is taking up a lot of time now too but thank you once again to everyone.

Wow small world this video posted the day I started my suburban. I used it for some pointers. Love the mled projectors. I installed them in a friends Jeep for him. I just couldn’t justify the cost when I already had the Morimoto d2s 5.0 projectors sitting in my basement. My next one will be led...
Sure do. Four now we had to get rid of the Tahoe and go for a suburban a while back. Just traded my Yukon for a grand Cherokee for the wife so I inherited the suburban. Had to do something about the headlights. They were awful. This was nowhere near as easy as retrofitting a Yukon. A lot more...
2010 suburban. Ordered amazon replacement headlights. Opened up and installed Morimoto d2s 5.0 projectors. Apollo 1.0 shrouds. 55 watt ballast with 5500k bulbs. Also installed Morimoto 3157 dual amber bulbs in the blinker and old drl location. Both wired to parking light only. Installed profile...
So installed the compustar ft-dc3-lc using the gm10 wiring harness. Programmed it for a 2010 suburban online and everything works great. Only thing I can’t figure out is the headlights. Factory remote start would start at night and just be parking lights until key was turned on. The aftermarket...
Installed a compustar remote start with the drone option to use my phone for lock unlock and start. Much better range than the factory remote and my key ring is slimmer

I’m going to be doing my suburban in the coming weeks. That won’t need the motocontrol relay because it has separate high and low beams. I’m hoping I don’t have the same issues again

I have the Moro control harness as well with the same issues as you. I’ve swapped the wiring a couldn’t times and I’ve swapped the relay a few times.

Just saw your post in another thread about can bus ballast. If you could share of this works or not I’m dying to know. I traded my Yukon in over the weekend and kept my retrofits. I’m going to re retrofit them into the wife’s suburban so they don’t go to waste

I was having the same issue after my retrofit. One would fire one would not. I chased it till I gave up. If one don’t work I turn them off wait a minute and turn them back on. Pain the rear but I’ve replaced everything

I did use the rubber seal between the reflector and the projector. They included it in the kit so I figured best to use it. As far as getting it tight I cranked it down pretty good and haven’t had any issues of it loosening and twisting
