    Tina coming Back

Well, let me run a gallon of gas through her first! I’ve not driven her in two years, so I’m hoping she hasn’t changed that much. I took a ride a few months back and all was well. Im sure the mileage has creeped up tho. I did get a price on a headliner for $375 and a seat panel at $75 So far...

With the Escalade through the black forrest

I lived about 20km east of Schwaebisch Gmuend in the village Moegglin when I was in the army. Your video reminds me of that same area even though Gmuend is about 100km north of the river. I loved my time there and want to go back! It is very very similar to the area where I live in the southern...

    Tina coming Back

I had to do a little rocker panel work when I had her first time. I popped my cherry on some very light bondo work and it actually turned out pretty good believe it or not. Good thing it was only a couple of spots about the size of a quarter.

Kind of thought that may be the response. She does need a new headliner, and knowing my son the carpet needs shampooing again. Probably just take her to the detail ship and get a good detail.. buffed, carpet clean full house detail. The get the headliner replaced. Son is in the fly fishing...

    2-3 "Flare" When shifting

My 04' Z71 has 170K and runs great. But my 2-3 shift has an RPM "flare" of about 300-500 rpms tha almost feels like a slip. If I am driving fairly "by the book" I barely notice, but if I an om the gas then the flare is more noticeable. If I am in 3rd already and I get on it and it down...

    North Georgia Mountains checking in

Here’s a couple more pics for ya VietVet Tina was still “in jail” getting the front end aligned after the RC Level. I’ve only had this truck for about 5 weeks. Bought it as a weekender-spare. Bought it from my son; he used this as his guide truck while he worked as fly fishing guide. Great guide...

    North Georgia Mountains checking in

Hello from North Georgia mountains! 04 Z71 owner here. Hope to learn a lot and share what little I have. This has been a fun vehicle to get rolling. Started with a truck that was a “guide vehicle” for a fly fishing guide but had sat idle for six months; with a little TLC it has morphed it into a...
