1999 Tahoe Mix and match lift, Need some advice
Getting close to the time where I am going to be lifting my 1999 Tahoe... Closer now with the black Friday sales. I have an early build 99 Tahoe so I think the kits that fit the 98 and sites say won't fit the 99' should work correct? My original plan was to go with Superlift 4-6" in the front...- Mange16v

L31 to MPFI with other than Marine Intake Manifold
Unless I can find something that operates well in the lower RPM range it looks like I will be giving the ebay cast Marine intake a go. Not much out there for the Vortec engines. But I don't want to get into a LS swap in something like this.- Mange16v

Thanks for the response. As for the AC I see the Pro flow XT might interfere with the mounts for the compressor but that's all. And I guess with some maneuvering you can make it work. I actually just received a response back from Edelbrock and they said neither would work. BUT... I am assuming...- Mange16v

I am going to be getting into my 99 Tahoe at the end of the summer and I have been looking into going to an aftermarket intake manifold that preferably isn't the cast marine version. I am going to do a bit of headwork, intake manifold and a cam. I want to keep Air conditioning and Cruise control...- Mange16v

Spyder Auto Headlights, Are they Junk?
They are on sale right now, And I would probably do an HID retrofit to them either way. I was looking at the smoked set with side markers. Just don't want to do work to a junk housing. I just put Projectors from an audi TT in my S6. Looks factory but is a bit of work -

Do you know of any lights that are designed with a projector for HID's? Preferably a glass lens... These were the closest I have found to being a projector style light. -

Thank you! Its been five years since I've ridden. Last bike was a YZ250f. It was as fast as the 450 only because it hasn't been uncorked yet. The 450 has saved me from going down a few times though. Tons of torque whenever you need it. Cows in the Rhythm section... Open country is fun. -

This is how I got rid of my Hyundai on the way down... Hated that thing anyway. Stopped to help the rollover get out and on my way back to the car and someone rear ended a passer by at 60. I was putting something away in my trunk at the time. -

Yes sir, it was the Vanity mirrors. I was thinking the Light under the hood at first but I checked the mirrors and they were always on. Good to go now. Putting in an aftermarket head unit before I leave as well. You should see underneath. I did the cats in the parking lot and I only had to use... -
