I have an 11 Esky and we absolutely love it. It's rated at 8300 lbs of towing capacity which is pretty darn good IMO. I haven't tuned it yet but I've heard it really wakes these motors up.
If you're towing anything heavy BE SURE you add an auxiliary transmission cooler. These trannys are...
Sounds like a ripoff. Sounds like the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Many people pay less than that for their house. At least here in Texas.
Sorry if I sound dramatic but that's just crazy to me. I love the new SUVs but I would never pay that even if I could afford it.
Not to mention...
If not in the manual then research it on the internet. I think it has to have the RPO code for it then you can buy the fob and have it programmed

The 3.0 isn't available for order yet. It was a late availability option set for sometime this fall so you'll have to wait just a bit more.
As far as MPG that remains to be seen. I don't know if EPA numbers are out yet but the half tons are rated close to 30 and many are surpassing that. But...
I did read it and I understand what you're saying. But you also have to consider you're paying more for the Escalade anyway because it's a Cadillac so is that really much different?
I completely agree with being a wise shopper no matter what you can afford. As for me I've waited for a diesel...
It is on the half tons so why not the SUVs? Plus they did in fact announce they were lowering the diesel price by $1500 which should make it cheaper than the 6.2.
Also it blows my mind that someone considering an $80k SUV would let a $3k engine option be a deal breaker. Especially if it's the...
It will probably be like the pickups where it'll be the same price as upgrading to the 6.2. The Escalades are standard with the 6.2 so the diesel being a no charge option makes sense

I would slightly disagree. Now I can see where that perspective comes from but the reason we bought our '11 Escalade over the Denali was because of the differences. Mainly the dash is quite different, there's more leather covered interior pieces and I like the look of the Escalade much more than...
What's different about the 2020 models? From what I understand they didn't really change the engines. At the very least a centrifugal setup should still work.

The 2500s have clutch fans because they're better for towing which is why the 3/4 and 1 ton pickups still use them. The 2500 Yukon/suburban is also designed for towing so the electric fans would be inadequate. They're more efficient but they don't move near as much air as a clutch fan.
The 1/2...
