I’m getting a whooshing sound from the drivers side rear tire. It’s noticeable at low speeds, like 25 mph and it stops if i push brakes. I already pulled tire off and didn’t notice anything odd. Rear brakes are still about 80% pad life. Rotors look good. It’s a 2002. Any suggestions?
I understand this is a tahoe page but figured maybe i could still get some input. I have a 2002 silverado 5.3L with 179K on it, I’m getting a wierd sound coming from drivers side inside of cab. Pretty much right behind steering wheel. Sounds like a tick, or tapping. Only seem to be able to hear...
Has anyone figured out a permanent solution to keep the weather tech floor mats from sliding and moving around? I don’t really want to drill into floor unless its a absolute must. It is carpet under them.
I’ll have to take it out on the back roads and check it out closer. Thanks for the leads! I also noticed when i put it down to the floor, i get a very fast and quick whistle sound at full throttle. Any idea?
Unfortunately I’m thinking its the actuator. Took that trim piece off, still doesn’t do anything. Only way it will unlock or lock is if i pull it up or push down manually
2013 chevy tahoe with 60K on it. 5.3L. When driving at low speeds i don’t notice it, but under hard acceleration i get a whooshing sound. If i let off, it goes away immediately. Any ideas?
I’ve been having issues with my drivers front door. It has a mind of its on and only unlocks half the time using the key fob. Has anyone experienced anything like this or know how to fix? Thank you!
I’m almost thinking its the water pump starting to leak a little. Tahoe only has 60k on it though. After a little more research, it seems its more of a orange color then atf red. Maybe coming out of weep hole? Ran hand over all coolant hoses, didnt feel any leaks or feel any cuts or whatnot.
I have a small leak on my 2013 chevy tahoe, passenger side, not quite big enough to leave a spot on driveway yet but it does drip off transcooler line, rolls off black casing (sorry I’m still trying to learn all the part names) and sits on top of metal skid plate. Wanted to get a second opinion...
Had a question about transmission temps. Its in a 2013 Tahoe. I believe it’s the 6L80. 58K miles. Anyways, on the highway I’m seeing the temp gauge anywhere from 100-120 degrees but if it’s sitting in a parking lot it climbs up to 160+…is this normal? Will it continue to keep climbing if i leave...
