I have been debating adding mechanical gauges but I have to keep the original ones working or the computer will freak out so it wouldn’t make sense with the exception of having a reliable gauge haha- kenny-or

To give context to this. I just pulled the block out, flipped it over and completely rebuilt the engine from the crank up. I put it back in put oil in it and coolant and everything else. From my understanding to do the delete you have to change the cam due to duration and grind. They sell VVT cams that can retain the VVT of it that work with the delete I think. My memory is very hazy. I researched this a few years ago but couldn’t find any way to update the computer at that time...- kenny-or

I actually ordered them a couple years ago when I was having an aux trans pump issue and mistook it for the AFM. My tool isn't showing any codes currently. I called GM and their first thought was a bad ground but I confirmed that the 3 grounds I disconnected to do the job are back in place and secure. I did attempt to start it with the remote start and it failed. Turned on and went through the motions but stopped short of the crank.... I'll actually go attempt that one more time though since trickle just for good measures.- kenny-or
