Want to get some cross rails for the roof rack (why don’t they come with the vehicle???!)
Are these hard to install, and is there a good (cheaper) off brand. OEM are pricey!

Honestly don’t know. Since I just pulled the fill plug and siphoned it out, I didn’t pay that much attention.
I would guess more than 10 though. I do remember them being spaced pretty close together.

Turns out pulling the full plug and pumping it out is MUCH quicker. Completed in 15 minutes. Refilled with almost 3 quarts so I got it all out.
What I didn’t realize until I was done - I used Mobil one synthetic, but it has limited slip modifier in it. I’m guessing it’ll be ok. It’s what’s...
Way too old to get that. I’m 40, have to late teen boys, they didn’t get it either. I think I live in a generation vaccum.

I’ve tried it on the site and with Tapatalk. Gives me an error every time. Just tried it again on Tapatalk and it says “the field discussion state was not recognized”

No, not like there was water in it.
Just the color of a milky gray.
If this site allowed me to post pics, I’d post one. I captured the first pint into a clear container.

60k Miles, new to me so I am going through the process of changing all fluids.
Just finished the front diff.
It was a milky gray. Doesn’t smell burned, but boy am I glad I changed it.
I also changed the transfer case fluid, and it was burned to a crisp. Black. And smelled very burned...
I bought them thinking if the old ones are bad, I’d replace.
But 3 looked good. Don’t see a need to go further
Id change them all in a heartbeat but that passenger side sure is tight!

I pulled 3 spark plugs just to get a look at them and make sure everything looked good. Just bought the vehicle and it was 60k on it. Plugs look good. I had purchased new plugs just in case. Would it be ok to put new plugs in the 3 that I pulled and leave the others alone? Or- should I just...
Want to change the fluid in the rear. There is a cross brace going right behind the cover. Is there enough room to shimmy the cover out and off without removing that cross brace? Anyone know?

I’d be interested to know this as well. I’m sure it can be done, at what cost and time is probably the question. I put one on my last vehicle (2012 4 door Wrangler Sahara) and it took all of 45-60 minutes). I have a feeling it’s much more difficult on the Tahoe.
