    Maxpeeding rods 1-3” level*+lift

Prepare yourself if you haven’t messed with the front suspension. Previous owner must not have done any maintenance. The torsion bars were froze into the lower control arms, and I mean stripped, and seized. Assuming it was from over cranked torsion keys adding more stress. Invested in a Bosch...

LED taillight strips like the Esky’s?

So, I’ve been throwing this idea around of using those 2 piece(left/right) tail, brake, and turn signal strip lights, and housing them as the newer Escalades do. I don’t want to be tacky, and just peel and stick, any ideas?

    Fuel line push-on fitting.

I did notice that too! Seemed like the rubber grommet was slightly, and by slightly I mean slightly, too bug. Ended up with my knee on a piece of 1”foam and a 1/2” piece of wood on top pressing down. And yes. Once I got that in, I was like woohoo! Baha.

    Fuel line push-on fitting.

Been there done that. Can’t tell you how many time I stopped to push the fuel line back on after jamming my arm up between the Fran and the tank. The tops of my arms are s***. Lol.

    Maxpeeding rods 1-3” level*+lift

Just got it this morning. I did not however purchase the rear spacers, as the Previous owner had a set of 1.5” already in the rear. If need be, I can grab the 2-3” I think? I plan to install this week, when I can locate a floor jack. All the local stores seem to be empty of them. Lots of flats...

    Maxpeeding rods 1-3” level*+lift

I’ve recently purchased the Otrch off-road 3” front/2” rear, total price was 119$ shipped. I of course got the package with the preload unloading tool, shock extensions, keys, and rear spacers. I’m looking forward to the install, both yours and mine. I’ll be battling 350k miles of rust. :0 Also...

    Replacing Old Carpet

I went the cheap route, and it didn’t turn out too bad. I think I’ve got the post on my page?! I dyed my carpet with the clothing dye from Wally World. Hot water, due, and 2 medium bristle brushes. Deep clean after, way better than my crappy slate grey or whatever.

    Fuel line push-on fitting.

There’s a lock clip? I’m assuming it slides in the gaps after the famous push on “click”? My old fuel pump didn’t have those, just the push-lock style. I may have to looking into this. Thanks!

    Fuel line push-on fitting.

I’ve recently changed my fuel pump, filter, and lines. Everything went back together as usual. Went to leave work after driving there(roughly a mile), and turned the truck on with no start symptoms. Of course I smelled the area, and smelled fuel. Checked my fuel pressure gauge on the rail...

    Fuel Pump Question

I JUST did this on my ‘ 03 Tahoe(284xxx, original eng/trans). Started after work at midnight, had it dropped, swapped and loaded back up by 2-2:30 with breaks involved.

    Reduced Engine Power

My reduced engine power threw codes for lean conditions on both banks, until I got a fuel gauge I also didn’t know that I was only running 17lbs At the rail. Intake gaskets are a common thing(Current ‘03 Tahoe 5.3, Non flex owner),and should be checked. Ground issues are another big thing...

    Yukon throttle response

Yeah, I started with the filter, as first inspection it was falling apart. Hated the screw-on style filter, so I went with the push-on. Drove it for a while(as it was my only vehicle, and not having a second would not work), and babied it. Bought a new car for the wife, and finally set time...
