I just put the RC 2in lift on our 20230909_192211.jpg
YukonXL with 285/60 R20 Falken WildpeakAT3s on the stock 20in wheels. No trimming or rubbing and honestly could of likely gone up just a bit bigger, but plenty of room still.
This was the garage friendly version for me. Doubt it would...
Ok so I finally decided to go with a RC 2in kit for my YukonXL SLT. I'm going back and forth on tire sizes now. I'll be sticking with the stock 20in rims for now. Looking at Falken Wildpeaks in 285/60 R20? Will they fit? Anyone have similar? I don't mind cutting and trimming either.
I recently picked up some 285/75R18 tires and have the RC 3.5 kit on order for our 21 Yukon XL. I know it says 20in rims for the RC kit, but I'm going to give the 18s a try
I realize I'll still likely need to do some trimming, but are there any decent guides on doing this out there?
2.2in taller. I went out and did some measurements and I have about 9.5in to spare lol. Looked allot closer while parked in there.
Hoping to get ours in next week for level and new shoes. I will say the stock continentals have about 28K on them now and they have held up ok. Still suck in mid...
Love that look. Worried it won't fit in garage... had a 2016 Tahoe with level and 285s that barely fit. For you guys that have done 2in levels, any garage fitment issues?
I'm at 20k miles and I notice even the bugs seem to hit more than our old 2016 tahoe. I have 2 cracks and chips in our glass as well. Main crack is in the black below the vis line. Other crack was a tiny pebble off a truck. We'll see how far they run in the winter...
Had an annoying squeak which was rear glass. Open and shut and cleaned all around it and it's gone.
Our lift gate also comes open at the car wash... very annoying.
At 12750 miles already, did 2nd oil change a few days ago and the dealership must have used an impact on the filter. was a major...
I had a 2016 tahoe and went to a new Yukon xl. Should fit in a standard garage. It's worth it to go big. I loved our Tahoe but with 3 kids there was never enough space... no suburban or xl owner will you ever find complaining about all the room they have. The same is not true for tahoe and...
