I can't speak for the new ones, but GM stopped using discs in 2012 I think. The Nav maps became hard drive based.- ghoster

That's aawesome! Thanks everybody. The local GMC dealership called me today to say they have one due to arrive next week with the Dark Atmosphere. So I will get to see it in person soon. From the way it's been described, I think we will like it a lot. Thanks!- ghoster

The white diamond, compared to the colors I have had int past, is better quality. Less flaws compared to the black, mocha, summit white, and silver. That's just my experience with it.- ghoster

My wife liked the Amethyst too, she called it a girl color. We have chosen the Diamond White exterior. I have a Silverado that is Diamond white and we love it. We do not love the black interior though.- ghoster

Yes! First, some pics with various lighting. Sun, flash, none, etc. In most of the pics I have seen the "dark atmosphere" is just a dark shade of gray. A local salesman says it is but its got a little brown to it. Your impressions and description would be helpful too. I like the idea of...- ghoster

All the panels that used to stick out are actually painted on the 2013. Last year of the truck so they did something special. Its also not marked as LTZ, instead it has Black Diamond badging.- ghoster

Traded in the 2011 Tahoe this last week. Now I am driving a 2013 Avalanche. Love it! It fits my needs just a little better than the Tahoe did.- ghoster

Black Bear Tune on my 2011 5.3L Tahoe
My dic reported 19.5 over two tanks, when I calculated it manually it worked out to 20.5. That was on a trip, so no extra idling or remote starts.- ghoster

So this happened today :-/
I haven't seen it done here, but I have on the trailblazer. Well... I should say they tried and gave up. The harnesses are completely different, the sensors are all missing, the vents (the ones hidden deep in the dash) are different. The final conclusion was it would be easier to trade the thing...
