I have a 1999 Tahoe with a 5.7l. My 4l60e transmission is trashed. I came across a 1999 Silverado nbs with a 4l60e that had a 5.3l. Will there be any issues (electrical, torque converter, mechanical, etc.) with putting the 4l60e from the Silverado in my Tahoe?
Thanks
FIXED: jerking on acceleration.
I replaced the MAP sensor with an ACDelco unit
Thanks to everyone who have shared their experience in trying to diagnose this issue.
Was it the line coming off of the brake booster? I have removed the line going to the heater control valve and the valve itself. This valve costed me an engine. I think the only vacuum lines I have are the EVAP line coming off of the purge valve, the PCV valve and the main vacuum line coming off...
Right now I have the cable and software from getting my PCM reprogrammed. I think I might look at the knock retard and knock counts and see if I can determine anything from that information. If anyone has other ideas on likely sensors to look at, feel free to suggest them. I am unable to post...
I appreciate your response. I just wish I had a decent schematic to go by. I'll look for these 3 grounds you are talking about and replace any I can't find. Thanks again.

I have a 99 Tahoe with random misfires on 2 and 3 that I have been trying to diagnose for months. I have replaced the cap, rotor, wires and plugs with ACDelco parts. I swapped out the coil and ignition control module with a spare I had and still have the misfires.
I put a PCM from Black Bear...
If you change the multiplier from 0.024 to 0.063, the readings returned will be more accurate the further from 0 degrees you get.
Using the formula with the multiplier 0.024 I was getting a reading of 0.6 degrees. I bought the Dash Command app with the Cam retard PID and it returned a value of...
Here is the new gauge information. It primed to 62 psi. 5 minutes-58 psi, 10 minutes-54 psi, 15 minutes-54 psi and 30 minutes-51 psi. Left is highway @2000 rpm and right is idle & op temp
I think it is the injector spider, but I'm going to replace the O2 sensors, too. Don't know when they...
I appreciate all the input guys. Initially, I didn't have the fuel trim info. It just had a lack of power, loss of mpg and when starting in the am or after about 5-6 hours it would crank for second or two before actually starting. So I took a fuel pressure reading, turned ignition to the "on"...
I hope it's not an injector, it's a brand new spider. I was reluctant to change the regulator as it was new and came with the spider. I'm going to recheck the fuel pressure.
I have a 99 Tahoe and I am trying to figure out a loss of power and loss of mpg. Bank 1 LTFT about 0 and Bank 2 LTFT approx. -10 and the STFT Bank 1 & 2 were also approx. 0 after days of driving. I measured fuel pressure and my key on engine off was 54psi and idle was 48psi. Originally I thought...
