    My 2003 Yukon build

$1200 Don't know what it's rated at but at least 600hp since I told them I would be making that or less and they assured me it would hold up to that.

    My 2003 Yukon build

Got the new custom built driveshaft . New tail housing on the transmission installed, new pinion yoke on the diff and the new driveshaft is installed. Went with this one piece aluminum shaft. 0.125" wall thickness. Inland truck parts and service in Austin built it for me. Hopefully in a week...

Unfortunately I didn't record a video of that. He was slowly making his way up the revs, each run a bit more, then looking at the data on the laptop. This happened at 5400rpm , later on the full run will be to the redline at 7000rpm Here is a video of the damage underneath (no audio)

So the dyno day didn't go as planned. Driveshaft blew up on the dyno at about 5400 rpm and 96mph . It was quite the bang when it let go. It also took out the tail shaft housing. Now I'm going with a 2 piece shaft. My dyno guy told me he had never had one blow apart on the dyno, he said they...

With the Holley high rise intake and the lines and wiring behind it I can't even get my hand or fingers back there

I also installed an oil catch can while I had the intake off It separates the oil from the air and then reroutes the air back into the intake. At the bottom of the catch can is a drain After I had done the electric fan conversion I noticed the voltage being a little lower than I was...

Relocated the oil pressure sensor from the back of the engine to the side of the oil pan where the oil filter is. That way I don't have to remove the intake manifold if I have to change the sensor again. The 2 foot harness extension makes it a simple plug in deal

I know, but wasn't thinking about that at the time. I might replace the seat with a sport seat in the future. Something more side support and less weight

BTW I'm to big ( 6'6") to work under the dash. I was bitching and cussing the whole time , taking off the old brake pedal and booster and installing the new ones.

Some more work done lately. Eibach sway bars and did the hydro boost conversion. Hoping to finish it all up this weekend. A couple of more small things then, fluids

It's pricey, for sure. But good brakes are a safety item that can safe your life. Besides, the truck is paid for. I can get a new truck, make payments etc or put some money in this one and build it the way I like it . Plus, I like the look of that body style better than the newer ones.

Brake upgrade. Wilwood 16" big brake kit with 6 piston calipers. I also got the parts for the hydro boost conversion. Installing the brakes is pretty straight forward. They tell you to put Loctite 271 on the bolts, which would have been nice to include in the kit, since it's something needed. No...

    My 2003 Yukon build

Just a small update. I changed the exhaust tubing and muffler setup. At first I ran it like I had it before the build, with the Flowmaster muffler and 3" downturn after the muffler. But Honestly that was to loud for a daily driver. The headers and no cats really made that thing loud. Now I run...

There will be a dyno video and graph. The MAF is stock, or are you talking about the throttle body?

Your truck sounds great. I haven't decided yet whether or not I am going to change my exhaust setup or not. I decide that once I drive it for a while and how I like or dislike the sound, especially inside the truck
