holy cow! in all seriousness, for a 2005, does this not alarm you? 225,000 miles is not that many miles. i've only been driving 20 years, and i've owned 2 cars that i've driven past 300,000 miles....had they required half the repairs you list, i would not have kept them in my garage. granted...- formula271

Unless they are offering an extended warranty (at least 60K miles), you would be wise to avoid. Without warranty, you are exposing yourself to many well-documented (and $$$$) issues for which GM will offer zero assitance. I would be curious about the detail of your '05 with 225000 miles you...- formula271

Totally disgusted with my 15 Denali
2015 Suburban LTZ w/42,000 purchased new in Dec 2015 (~2.5 years in service) May 2018 -> Sharkfin antenna water intrusion failure. GM said my vehicle wasn't covered and offered zero assistance. Running board issues
i will reiterate the lube-the-hinges suggestion. 2015 Suburban LTZ with retractable boards. The p-side first started acting up (it gets cycled ~1/3 as many times as the d-side). Some lube spray stoped the issue. hopefully, i'm not just masking a bigger issue :eek:- formula271

Do you guys have a way to delete 15+ magnetic ride
I agree with your comments 100%. There are these brief moments where the system seems to get damping somewhat right....at a certain temperature, over a certain bump, at a certain steering wheel angle. But, mostly it's embarrassingly bad. Wallowy and disconnected while being outright...- formula271

2015 Suburban LTZ - BB tune-worthy?
Would my 2015 Suburban 5.3 benefit from a tune? It is an LTZ with the Max Trailering Package 3.42 gears. Currently have ~35,000 miles. My only "performance" goodies are a Range AFM disabler and an almost exclusive use of premium fuel. Normally, I'd be suspicious of the benefit of running...- formula271

Rough Ride Bulletin
Have others had this repair performed? This TSB doesn't apply to my 7/9/2015 build 2015 Suburban LTZ w/MRC. But, my vehicle rides so poorly, I can't imagine how bad the pre-2/10/2015 vehicles must be. Does anyone know if the strut/spring p/n's have been updated since this TSB was published?- formula271

changing mrc shocks with gas shocks
I recently drove a 2017 Tahoe LT with the standard suspension and 20" wheels / Continental tires. The ride was fantastic. My 2015 Suburban LTZ with the Magnetic Ride Suspension and the same 20" wheels / Conti tires rides embarrassingly bad. It's both stiff and floaty at the same...- formula271

Squeaking suspension.
I noticed in cooler temps (~40F or less), my front suspension squeaked. It was especially noticeable at low speed going over speed bumps. I squirt the front control arms with some silicone spray ~3000 miles ago, and it's been quiet ever since. I have a '15 Suburban LTZ with the MRC.- formula271
