I'm happy with the LS. It comes with everything I need/want without the added expense of stuff I didn't want or need. The LS comes pretty well-equipped. Went with the LT3 in 2007. The LS back then wasn't as well-equipped as the LS is now.
We have taken our '16 Suburban on some decent OHV trails that required 4 Lo. Ours is set up pretty much stock except for 6" lift and 35" MT's. And a bumper and winch. We ordered it geared as low as we could for stock, which isn't super low for off-roading, but so far so good.
We take our '16 into the mountains all the time. And on some OHV trails. Nothing too extreme of course. But we lifted it 6", put 35" MTs on, a Fab Fours bumper and Smittybuilt winch put on. Sounds like you need a little more clearance
The fender flares make it look soooo much better! I wish Bushwacker would make them for the newer Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon! Come on Bushwacker! Get with the program! Lol
Having to trim the inner fender would depend on the wheel offset as well. With the right offset, you may not need to trim the inner fender. The 35's we run on ours with a 6" lift rub a little when the wheels are fully turned and the suspension is under compression. I would think with 33's and a...
I agree. IDK why it's taking the aftermarket vendors so long to come out with products for the 2015 and newer Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon, especially when they already have aftermarket parts for the 2014 and older ones! It's been over 3 years now, still very little aftermarket parts!
I would think that if you are just engaging it when you are launching the boat or hauling it out of the water and you will most likely be doing so straight in and out, there would be no problem. Better safe than soggy!
