Need help sourcing a gear shift assembly for a 2007 Tahoe.

I will do that. Being basically lazy, I thought to just order one. I have a 1999 Tahoe 2 door that I have shopped at the junkyards for. I have found often my worn out parts are worn out on theirs as well.

Need help sourcing a gear shift assembly for a 2007 Tahoe.

The spring that pushes the shift lever forward broke & locked up the shift lever. I replaced it with another spring, but I failed to find the correct spring. I found a spring on Amazon, but felt $68 was excessive for just a spring. I am sure there is a fair amount of wear on the whole mechanism...

Update: 99 Yukon NP8 codes 1-2 shift scan tool?

I use this to analyze my 99 Tahoe 2 door 4X4. https://www.vxdiagshop.com/wholesale/vxdiag-vcx-nano-for-gm-opel.html I can look at anything a Tech2 can. I haven't changed anything other than the tire size with it, but will soon. It is $45 for 2 years per vehicle from GM for the SW code to do so...

Battery drain on a 99 Tahoe

I did the same dog and pony show on my 99 Tahoe 2 door. As a certified electronics technician, I spent way too much time on this. In the end it turned out the ignition key was so worn it didn't always turn everything off. The engine would die, but leave a / some circuits hot. YMMV

How many miles did you get out of your original Transmission?

Anyone installed the HT383E in their Tahoe?

I had a HT383E installed in my '99 Tahoe 2 door. I had 300K miles on the original 5.7 with no issues. It was still running well and used a quart of oil between changes. After a lot of research I selected the HT383E. I liked the warranty of a new GM engine. I didn't like, but did understand, that...

New door stickers - how do you do it?

I got a sticker for a 2008 SRX from the Canadian site. It took some time as they kept trying to send me a letter related to recalls.
