01 Yukon XL 8.1 resources?

Help diagnosing 5.3 noise
If it was a rod bearing there wouldn't be that kind of oil pressure. I've blown up my share of engines and I speak from experience. LOL In my opinion, that engine is worth tearing down further to examine! Sounds more top end, but I'm def no expert.- -DIRTBAG-

Water intrusion passenger floorboard
Ok here is what I ran into on my 1998 Chevy K1500 Z71. I too had water on the passenger floorboard and now have a rust issue and stinky carpet. I tried all of the same things you did with no luck. Mine ended up being the drain hose/hole for the AC on the firewall. Mine wasn't plugged, but the... -

For fun... How many miles on your Yukon
Just picked up a 2004 GMC Yukon XL with 189K. So far I've replaced the wheels and tires, battery, replaced misc interior pieces, added Weather Tech mud flaps, replaced a bent drive shaft, new U joints, replaced driver side hub/wheel bearing and changed the oil. 2003 GMC Yukon XL Need Help tracking down an issue
On my 07 Tahoe, the passenger side seat switch was giving my wife fits. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. She likes to be able to recline on long road trips and it was pissing her off.
