I think the 2drs are falling into the same category as the SWB trucks. Chevy really seems to have cornered this market with the trucks for pretty much all of the generations. I'd love to have a 2wd and 4wd Tahoe/Blazer from each generation between 67-99. I'd also love to have a SWB from each...
Just in time for winter...
I fixed the passenger side door handle again. This is not something I should be this good at. What a horrible design.
I also had a minor cut-out on my stereo in the right door speaker. I pulled the radio out (something else I've gotten too good at) and found a cut in...
I've used two of these with great results. They insert from the front with the nut on the back. I can't quite see how the one you ordered would fit right but I might just be confused.

Once you start throwing patches into the equation... all bets are off. The information I provided is for replacing lamps in the factory housings.
That said... if the whole tail light assembly is LED, you might be onto something.
You should not have gotten a hyperflash issue from putting LEDs in the DRLs. That is a problem you get from swapping LEDs into the turn signals.
The weirdness of this leads me to think more along the lines of a grounding problem.
LED DRLs: No change needed - highly recommended as it will slow...
I forgot to add that I changed my courtesy lights in the door panels. I mentioned trouble-shooting the passenger side above (corroded connector / broken wire above). I found these on Amazon and like them much better than the OEM version:
I bought the wheels off of Craigslist. They are Silverado wheels off of a 2019 or 2018 (I can't remember which). I got the set for $250.

I've been doing a bit more. I changed out the headlights and...
I'm trying to find a new battery cable (positive) for my 1995 2dr. The search is turning out to be a little more difficult than I thought it would be. The main terminal should have 3 leads with one going to the starter (about 36" with a heat shield), one going to the alternator (about 36" with a...
This looks like the alternator and starter side, but doesn't have the long wire to the fuse box:

I just can't find anything with all 3.
Thanks to a lot of help from East302, I was able to figure out why my passenger door courtesy lamp wasn't working. Pulling the kick panels is not particularly fun. Pulling the pin from the connector, cleaning it up, reshaping it and re-crimping it was easier than pulling that panel off.
OK... figured out which panel it was behind. In my business, we have a special phrase that absolutely nobody else uses: Smoking gun.
Thanks for the help, East302!
