The Gates fittings look like this. Everything buttoned up real nice. The right side(white plastic) had a different molded fitting in the hose, the black side uses a hose clamp.
Yep. Gates 28500 is the right fitting coming off the T connector to the hoses... Finished this job this morning - everything fit good. Next time I’m eliminating the QD crap.
Yeah I’m about to do that too (I hate these stupid plastic connections they’re a joke) but did find the part number. The Gates 28500 connector works fine. The Dorman 800-403 does not fit. (I have rear AC/heat) so I have to incorporate a T connection at the heater core to run the line to the rear...
