    5.3 to 6.2 - initial impression

My '16 Denali rode like a potato wagon. Absolutely no shocks whatsoever, horribly stiff. Had to trade out of it due to the booming. Glad they fixed it but I'm done with MRC anytime soon.

Prospective GMC owner , what am I in for?

Beware of the booming, buffetting and vibrations a lot of these have. It took numerous test drives to find one that did not buffet . My (since sold, couldn't take it any longer) '16 Denali had an extremely harsh ride and every little bump gave me a big BOOM in the cabin, even with 20" wheels...

    RST Premier Tahoe vs Denali

I had a 2016 Denail with 20" wheels and obviously MRC. I HATED the ride, way too stiff, like steel bars instead of shocks. If the Tahoe doesn't have that, I would go that route. Are prices about the same?

    Tahoe Premier: Used or new?

There may be a reason it was traded in at 19k miles. Make sure it doesn't vibrate (45mph, 65+mph are usual spots), have the low speed BOOM (my 2016 Denail had it in bad way) and it does not buffet (45mph-ish, feels like one window down). GM will deny those exist and there is no one fix, so be...

Buffeting / Vibrations/ cabin ear pressure

Maybe it was the booming over expansion joints or road imperfections at low speeds?

Looking at buying used 2015-2017 Denali - have a few ?

Ex-2016 Denali owner. I had 20s and my mag suspension seemed to gradually get stiffer. Low speeds over slight imperfections made a big bass drum "BOOM" on the inside. Annoying as hell. I've heard the 17s and 18s are better or don't have this particular problem. Also, we had a hard time...

New Member - Contemplating Grand Cherokee Hemi vs. Tahoe Signature

My .02. I sold a '16 Denali due to booming - drove me insane. If you can find a Tahoe/Yukon w/o that or buffetting or vibrations, that is your starting point. Before this week I had never driven a GC. I had a rental with 19k miles, Limited, 4wd. Had it in the Wisconsin cold. Comparing the...

Prices - Trade in, Sell or Keep - Tahoe LTZ / Denali

FWIW, I Carmax'd my '16 Denail with 16k miles (no 4x4, 20" wheels, no steps) and got $51k for it. That price was around what I was seeing online for private party. So a '15 Tahoe comparably equipped would fetch around $45k tops, my guess anyway.

    Rear cargo mat/liner options.

I recently sold my '16 Denali (could no longer take the booming) and have a full set of black Canvasback for sale if you're interested. I don't have enough posts to post them in the classifieds or would have. I think they're $179 new, would sell for $45 plus shipping. I don't think they are...

I've had 3 of these new Tahoe/Yukons..no issues

I disagree it is a characteristic of body on frame vehicles. I've ridden in Yukon's and Tahoe's that did not boom. Infiniti QX80's don't boom, Nissan Armada's don't boom, my previous Toyota Tunda didn't boom, Toyota 4Runners don't boom. If you've ever driven or ridden in one that does it, you...

Not necessarily. I had a boomer with sporadic vibrations above 70mph but no buffeting. What a crap design. I feel sorry for those with the trifecta. Sold mine, enjoying the new Audi Q7 and no booming over slight road imperfections.

Sold my '16 Denali. Couldn't stand the booming any longer. Hopefully they fix that and the buffetting and vibrations. Other than those 3 highly annoying "features", it was a nice truck.
