Just tested out the Trail Grapplers in the snow leaving South Lake Tahoe in the snow storm yesterday, they did great. No sliding or any problems, traction was great.
I just threw on Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/65/18's and love them. I do a lot of highway driving, but hit Tahoe a lot. So far they have been nice in the rain, and haven't seen too big of a hit on gas. Hitting Tahoe next weekend so I'll post how they do.
Just had the leveling kit installed yesterday and put on new wheels and tires. Had to do some minor trimming. CCM 2.5/1.5 with 285/65/18 Nitto Trail grapplers. Drives nice, thanks for the advice..
Finally have it all picked out and was wondering if anyone had any good pics and thoughts. Going to go with the CCM leveling kit, and the 285/65/18 Trail Grapplers. This site has been super helpful and I'm hoping to have this done by the 3rd.
I think I'm just gonna put BF Goodrich AT T/A KO 265/65/18 on it at stock height. Don't wanna put a leveling or lift kit so hopefully this looks nice and fits nice in there. Anyone have any input on the BF Goodrich tires? I was told by a few places that I cant fit the Terra Grapplers on my...
My bad if I put XD788, I meant XD778. Just ordered it in Matte Black, with 275/55/20's Terra Grapplers. Hopefully it fills the wheel well a little bit more than the Good Year stock tires that came with. Currently have 22's on it and trying to dump them off. Thanks for the advice, in the end...
Looks very nice, I may have hit report pic instead of next pic, stupid iPhone. Would the 1.5 inch spacer in the front help out with a bigger tire or is it best to just stick with stock and run a 285 or 275? Liked your tires!
With a 1.5inch spacer in the front would a 285/55 rub a little? Sorry for all the simple questions, new to all of this. Overall the car wont have a lift kit ever installed, just want a mean look without having to raise it. Don't wanna get new tires and have it look goofy. It will have a 20'...
Do you have anymore pics of your Z71 with the 305/55/20's? Does it stick out at all at that size or is it flush with the fender? Just curious, I'm thinking about a 275/55/20 with the Terra Grapplers, just don't know if that size will fill up the wheel well at all. Mine will be at stock height.
I think it will be 20' AX 188's or XD series 788 I think. I'm selling the Tahoe to my little bro, he wants a tire that fills the wheel well and looks nice at stock height. Doesn't want to lift it but he will be off roading for dirt biking, towing boats and driving in Tahoe snow. Current it has...
Having the 2011 Tahoe brought back to stock height. It has the Z71 off road package and was wondering which size tires would look nice in that big ass wheel well. Have a friend at Big O tires and he thinks the 275/50/20 would look and ride nice. Any thoughts on this size and how it looks in...
