FYI, I have been talking to Deavers and one of their engineers. They do NOT have a 4" lift spring on file. If they ever call me back after the COVID lock down, I'll probably give it a shot. He couldn't guarantee the actual lift.- beeffajitas

Swapping power seats
Anyone swap a power seat into a non-power seat truck? I have a commercial package with the basic vinyl seats. Is the wiring for seat power conveniently already wired into the under-seat connectors?- beeffajitas

Adding idatalink?
Not yet. I got a pretty simple chime adapter from Crutchfield. I did find the Maestro RR and it looks like it will do most of what I want. What needs to be programmed? I saw a bit about tapping to the OBD connector and getting some vehicle data from that. Is there something else?- beeffajitas

Adding idatalink?
I have a 2012 Suburban, Commercial model. It's pretty stripped as far as options go. No Bose, no Onstar, no Bluetooth, no Steering Wheel controls. Is there a way to tap into an iDatalink source somewhere? I just installed a new head unit and it would be nice to add that feature.- beeffajitas

I have a Mag-Hytec on my 14FF on my other truck. No complaints at all. In fact, I think the increased capacity helped with the break-in when I did gears in that. The cover never got more than luke warm. The fills and drains are awesome. No more making a huge mess to change fluid.- beeffajitas

I'm considering making a GMT800 SUV my next vehicle. Which trucks came with the 3/4-ton drivetrain?
