Looking to move up to a custom tune on my vehicles. I have a 2019 tahoe and 2017 Silverado. This module works as intended. Keeps you in V8 mode at all times. Has a red LED light when on. Just plug it into the OBD port under dash. Will sell for $125 shipped for anyone in the lower 48. I do...
Probably the high pressure fuel pump, its under the intake manifold closest to the firewall. My 2019 has the same tick tick tick. NOT a lifter. Could be confused as exhaust leak.. Cant believe it was over $300 to change a $15 exhaust clamp.. especially when it probably took them 10 mins to do...
You should be fine bypassing it. Heat kills transmissions.. the 6 speed has alot going on inside.. lots of clutches to build heat. Again, these things didnt have anything fancy until 2015 so let it flow to the cooler all the time.
Yea, my 08 goes up by the radiator. Runs 150-160 and never seen it go above 195, even pulling a car trailer. GM got 1 mpg maybe by keeping it hot and thin
So far so good on mine with 2 years and 30K more miles on it. Service records really aren't that important or informative on the condition of a vehicle. If something broke under warranty then I am sure it was fixed by a dealer and that will be seen, but if there's no records then that should...
I already swapped mine in, but just looking from outside.they are the same. They do make an aftermarket kit that replaces the guts, but i think it removes the thermostat completely. May be fine if you don’t get real cold temps in winter
My 2019 has the lines and plate hold down. If you dont want to upgrade the lines, you could swap the guts out. All you will need is a C-clip tool. Should be C-clip, cover, thermostat pill and spring. I think the TSB that is associated with this says something about the lines being changed out...
Glad to hear you went with it. I have a 2019 previous Enterprise Tahoe LT. It was a year old with 33K when I got it. It was the cleanest one I had looked at. The seats looked barely broken in, a few dings here and there but nothing like a a daily used family vehicle. If you have not already...
Yea. Was definitely more aggressive, but i actually think the truck looks better with a bigger wheel. Will probably put some AT tires on these when needed, but got a great deal with the highway tires.
The duratracs are far from quiet as well
Went from trailboss takeoffs to a set of 20" takeoffs with 275/60/20 street tires. Still on a rough country front spacer and Moog 80169 rear springs(about 3/4" gain)
