I was a bit mistaken. I had to get a wireless adapter for my liftmaster at my old house, but it worked fine with craftsman at the new house without the adapter. So, question number two is solved. Edited that question out to avoid any confusion on the forum.

That was me. Rears definitely a bit annoying. But worth it. Definitely doesn’t get filthy as quickly and should help keep stones from attacking the paint.
