It wasn’t too hard to be honest. Drop headliner enough to reach the bolts holding them in and pull them through and skip wires. There are 4 holes, 2 on each side. Bigger one is probably 3/4” and the small one smaller than the width of a pen. I used heavy duty gorilla tape underneath to...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Pulled the headliner down last night and deleted the XM antenna as well as the Onstar. Only things left to do before the wrap now is to fill the holes left over and drop my running boards.

    Remove roof rack

Took mine off shortly after buying the rig last Januray. Put in some teflon wrapped set screws along with some silicone and then used some black rustoleum to touch up the metal "knobs" that remain. I honestly don't have any idea where the rack is. Probably in my shed out back. Couldn't tell you...

I plan on having the stool as a companion piece. Didn't have to pay extra for it. :happy175::grd:

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I did it as a trade deal..But for tax purposes we are setting the retail price @ $2500 for the film + labor with the agreement that I am to deliver it to his shop needing no prep work to the paint (I strip all product, clay surfaces, paint correction if needed). Price does NOT include door jams...

Oh you better believe I'll be posting it up the minute it's done and coated.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Washed & stripped coatings and wax off, pulled moldings, and did some minor paint correction with my DA and Megs compound. All this in preparation for my full color change wrap. I have to say if you've never used a 3M wheel that they are absolutely amazing. Some people say they're expensive, but...

Yes sir....I reached out to you several months ago looking for a local source for paint and body work and you sent me right to Jim & Monica. Good people and legit work. They're the ones who painted my appliques and did the work on the fender from my little incident awhile back.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I wasn't planning on repainting at the moment due to the impending wrap being put on. Although I hadn't really thought about having backing panels to handle the stress, but it makes logical sense to me. I dunno....My understanding of the reinforced bondo is that it negates the need for backing...

Yesterday had the 5 holes in the rear gate left from my wiper delete filled and leveled. Had them use bondo glass as opposed to welding since I was told the heat can do a number on the paint. Here's a picture of the back of the truck shortly after I bought it January 2019.. And today...

    2004 suburban vibration at 65mph

+1 to what others have said already. I bought my current Yukon last January with a set off 22"'s on it that I hated...Bought a set of 20"'s with existing tires and then my current set of 20"'s also with existing tires. Through all 3 sets of wheels I always had a high speed wobble and couldn't...

I bought it that way last year so unfortunately I have no idea. But I absolutely love the stance.

Finally got around to debadging the Denali logos on the front doors. Took a little patience and elbow grease but managed to remove all traces of them. I originally was going to replace them but decided against it. If anyone wants the pair of new Denali logo badges they're yours for the taking.
