23 Yukon Denali, Dead battery, won’t start from day 1. SOS

The load test you suggest would tell the state of the battery, but there is a need to look beyond this. The dealer should check for battery drain. This can be done by disconnecting the battery terminal and attaching a amperage meter and observing the current flow when the vehicle is parked and...

    Gas vs Diesel fuel price

For people concerned with the high cost of fuel, why are you driving a large SUV ? I drive a Yukon myself with the 6.2L engine, but I went into it knowing there will be a high price to pay.

    Dash-cam using existing Cameras - GM - R U Listening?

That is a great idea. I think many people would love this option rather than to have to go the aftermarket for a dash cam.

    Pricing vs MSRP

wHO PAYS Define MSRP. On my 2021 Denali window sticker they show the MSRP before adding the $12k Ultimate Package. They then show a Total Vehicle Price with the added options (all factory options). I purchased mine for $7k below total price, but that was over 2 years ago.

21 Yukon Denali - How do you prevent the radio/XM from turning on automatically??

The radio always turns on whenever you start the vehicle. You cannot turn it off, all you can do is control is the volume. Go into the Infotainment settings and set your preferences. One of them is "Maximum Startup Volume". I like to keep my startup volume at "0".

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

Nope, it's not. The Sliding Console F38 has full time power.

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

There are plenty of fuses you could tap, but all are full time power. You could have a dome light that switches manually. I think the ideal circuit to tap would be an empty fuse socket not in use. I think there may be some which are powered. My second choice would be to find a safe fuse to tap...

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

I don't care about parking mode, so I only need switched power which is my F26 fuse in the forward fuse box. The unpowered fuses I found in the rear box (only tested 20A and less) were F12 'GBS' (Glass Breakage Sensor) and F49 'Lift Glass' (Rear Hatch Glass Release ??). I measured these two...

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

There are no suitable fuses in the rear fuse box. Every fuse 20A and below has full time power, except for two (F12 & F49). These two have no power whether ignition is on or off. I'll tap F26 (USB/SEO RAP) in the front fuse box and route the cable to the rear. I had quite an experience...

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

Please excuse my ignorance in my previous posts. The ports are connected with USB cable to a hub. There is no 12v source. I will have to either plug into the USB port or route my power from the Instrument Panel fuse box back to the rear of the vehicle.

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

I already have a front camera and decided to get a rear one as well. Rather than getting the rear which goes with my front camera, the rear being a lower resolution extension that plugs into the main camera, I decided to go with an independent rear camera. You are correct, the dash cams operate...

Looking to tap switched/Acc circuit for rear dash cam.

I'm planning to install a rear dash cam in my 2021 Yukon Denali and I'm looking for a source of power which will only be on when the ignition or Acc is on. I don't plan to use parking mode so I only need the two wire hardwire kit (GND/12V). Based on an earlier thread, the only switched fuse in...

    New vehicle recommendations

I have the 2021 Yukon Denali 4x4 6.2L and love it. I've been a bit nervous reading about all of the issues with these vehicles, especially the Active Fuel Management, but in over two years I haven't had a single problem or complaint with mine and my local dealership treats me right. I'm keeping...

Installing Dashcam: Need a 20a ACC Fuse spot in cargo area

You might want to consider tapping the F46 30A fuse (HVAC Blower Motor). I'm not sure if this is on with ACC, but it seems to me it would be. You will need to test for voltage to confirm first. This seems like a safe circuit to tap as it is not vital to the vehicles operation or safety systems...

    Auto Theft

It's pretty well known that keyless technology has become easy to defeat. There are RF signal repeaters on the market that will defeat your keyless system for as low as $20, going up in price costing thousands. I found this one on the web. The distribution center is Houston TX. It doesn't take...
