Don't pay attention to the dirty truck. Picks were taken after install but before cleaning

I bet it feels weird lol, I looks weird too ....but in a good way. Looks dripping wet. I love the look!!

Hey @pnwdan where'd you get that kit? It's hard to see exactly what it looks like due to reflections I think but maybe you could take a few more pics?

I ordered it online. It matches the original dark wood grain. It's about a 95% match I'm guessing because of my truck being older and probably faded a bit. The parts that haven't seen much sun match perfect. Once it's all in you can't tell. What kind of pics do you want?

Maybe those are OK, the area around the ashtray and cig lighter look worn but I'm guessing that's reflections. If you can, maybe ctry to get a straight-ahead shot of that console/ ashtray area. I was considering one of those kits awhile ago but never saw anyone with one installed. My Denali is an 02 with a DD bash bezel from an 04 so I'm not sure how it would work out.

No pictures, but replaced my front brake pads and rotors. The rotors were original. Sheesh.

Will be doing the rear brakes in the coming weeks. No weird noises, but I'm sure it won't hurt.

Hah I was saying the other day that I want to build another one, but a bagged Tahoe or Yukon!

Almost bagged mine, but ended up not doing it. Would be pretty cool.

I've been wanting to lift one haha

Never lifted anything, always lowered. Would be a nice change. Theres a really nice Burban LTZ lifted on here somewhere. Old members will know which one.

I've had both. Both are impractical lol. I love the look of both though. As of now I'm afraid to drive mine on the dirt so if I found a high milage one for cheap I'd probably lift it.

Yes they really are just depending upon what one wants to do with them. Most lifted vehicles I see here are highway queens. Heck, i wanted to take my tahoe mudding, lowered and all. :jester: Would still like a lifted truck though.

Just recently did the light mod, new bumper, smoke taillights head lights, installing new fog lights.

Ordered a Denali lower valance air dam to put on.

Complete wire and spark plug change

New rotors

Issues that needed fixed: brake light switch, evap solenoid, oil pressure sending unit, overhead DVD player.

All in all building a new house and must drive this until it dies (will do my best not to let it)

Got it back from the shop, Z71 coils installed, RideRite airbags removed (wouldn't fit inside the coils), 2" spacers, new KYB MonoMax shocks with extensions in the rear. The front got extended length KYB MonoMax shocks, and keys installed. Now sits at 40 1/2" at all four corners, rides a LOT more firm than what I had before with the 166+K original shocks. And yes, those are 285/75/16's on it, they look tiny now, having almost 8" of clearnce to the fender.

It was formerly a Fire Chief's truck, has the 4-corners strobes in it. Otherwise, I'd swap out the headlights for something nicer...
