I've never seen ones from Belltech. I installed new OEM ones to replace mine which were really shot and it seemed my front raised back up 1/2" or so which I didn't want. Those look shorter than the stockers?Installed these in my Denali the other day. Helped the ride up front![]()
Yeah they are shorter. I had my OEM ones drilled out and then came across a post that a guy used these. They are perfect. Just barely touch at rest. You just knife the back to peel the mount out then pop them in. They are the same diameter and everythingI've never seen ones from Belltech. That sucks! Still waiting for my 65 to bite it with 180k but still going somehow. Did you have any major power adders that may have shortened the lifespan?Smoked the 4L60 today. Pullin it out next week to have it rebuilt stronger and 6.0 liter ready. 134.000 rebuilt under warranty at 20,000.
I'm used to that as well... Nice to have a little break every once in a whileNeed. Spent over 40 to fill my yuk up today. Not fun.

Maybe your programmer is to blame. What are you using? I've heard of guys blowing up not just their tranny but engines as well due to tuning. That's one of the reasons I went with Black Bear.No major mods, basically intake and exhaust.
Last week I changed the shift programming for +5 mph and have been racing around on a tank of 100 octane. Probably didn't help the tranny but catalytic code(p0420) stopped coming up!
Yeah it sucks, I was about to change the cats out and do a custom Black Widow exhaust. On hold for now.
