I did this today. Well the HIDs only. The LED fogs were put in last week.

I bought the Silverardo kit from TRS in 5k. Is it just me or does that look like one 5k bulb and one 6k bulb?

Looks really good. How easy were both the HIDs and fogs to install? Can you post a link to where you bought each?

For the fogs, GM parts giant website and purchased the brackets and the lights. From earlier threads: Brackets Part#'s 22936482, 22936483. Lamps Part#s 22872762, 22872763. Bought the fog bulbs from VLEDS.com.

For the HID kit, I bought the Morimoto Silverado kit from The Retrofit Source.

I did not install. I had a friend do it at his shop.

For the HIDs, I had to have a contact at Car Tunes do it with some more experience in the area. He has had some flicker issues and some HIDs fail so he put it on a separate harness and switch.

Thanks for the info. Definitely sounds like something I wouldn't be able to do myself as I'm not the most mechanically inclined. I'll have to see if I can find a shop around here in the Phoenix area that would be able to do the installation.

Just went through this whole thread from start to finish... you guys have done some impressive work! I picked up a 2015 Yukon XL at the end of June because we just had twins and my Mazda CX-9 wasn't going to cut it. I got the SLE so that I could have the extra seat in the front, but I've been pleasantly surprised with the level of amenities in this "base model" truck.

Money is tight, but I'd like to try some of the mods I've seen here... probably the LED fogs/reverse/plate bulbs first. Thinking about trying to plastidip the stock 18" rims too. Might help camouflage the tiny rim! For a non-DIY guy is that a task I could reasonably take on myself? Are there shops that will do plastidip for me? I'm in SoCal, so if they DO exist, I'm sure there's one nearby.

Thanks for all the inspiration guys, look forward to seeing more mods.

You could totally do Plasti Dip yourself just watch a YT video for tips and take your time. There are plenty of shops though if you feel it's outta your relm. To be honest though if you do spray the wheels black it will make the 18s look even smaller than they do now.
