I found the VR intake for a really good price and decided to give it a shot. I will post pics of the install tomorrow. I will be posting regularly to give everyone an update on how I like it.

And please no trolls!!! I bought it and I will inform you how I like it, just to inform those who might be considering buying it.

and the final product.....overall the install was not too bad...it took me about 2 hours with some distractions here and there

The hardest part of the install is stretching the hoses over the oval hard plastic parts on the "grill scoops" and the triangle box

the material of all the pieces is quality...and no the are not dryer hoses, they are much bigger and believe me are a lot tougher.

Nice write-up emann_01 :Handshake: How is the performance increase? Is there any sound difference?

just got this installed last night so i dont want to comment on performance or mpg yet. My SOP dyno tells me that it feels to pull a little bit better especially when traveling above 30 mph

sound is much improved but not obnoxious, I am sure that all the other intake systems probably sound louder. I have installed intake systems on other vehicles and this one give a deeper sound than other i have heard. I love the sound of it. I will try to take a video and capture the sound but I am not sure of how well it will come out.

Also, I want to state that the IAT I was getting with the stock intake were a lot higher than they are now. I have the Edge Evolution so I can monitor these. Even at an idle they are lower. Stop and go traffic this morning it was 78 outside and at idle my IATs were 94-99 degrees. When I would get up to 60 mph or so they were ranging from 82-88.

That is a very unique intake and that ram type intake should provide more air once up to speed. I bet the induction noise sounds good!

Is it easy to change the filter element (oil or dry?) and I wonder how it will do in the rain.

BTW, good photos and looking forward to see updated reviews. Oh yeah, what other mods do you have? Include in your sig!

Looks great, thanks for posting! I can't wait until they put out the modified version for the late 2009s. I hope they are still $258 shipped at Maryland Speed!
